Description

The adventure begins in the vibrant city of Cusco, once the capital of the Inca Empire and now a fusion of colonial Spanish charm and ancient Andean tradition.

From Cusco, you'll travel to the trail's starting point at Km 82, where your trek across the sacred lands of the Incas officially begins.

As you make your way along the path, you will be following in the footsteps of Incan nobles who used this route for pilgrimages to the sacred site of Machu Picchu over 500 years ago.

Each day on the trail presents a new chapter of discovery and challenge.

The first day eases you into the journey, with a moderate trek to the community of Wayllabamba, nestled amidst scenic mountain views and rich vegetation.

Here, the real ascent begins as you prepare to tackle the highest point of the trail on the second day—the formidable Dead Woman’s Pass.

Standing at over 4,200 meters, reaching the summit of this pass offers a profound sense of achievement, coupled with panoramic views that are simply unmatched.
